Is it running real APKs?
Yes, it's running APK files that I downloaded from F-Droid.
Is this running Android?
No, this is running Winedroid, it's written completely in Rust and it essentially replicates Android so it works everywhere.
What is the size of the runtime loaded in the browser?
12MB right now.
Why doesn't XYZ app work?
Because the project is still improving day by day. If you want your app's support added, add a new issue on GitHub.
Why is it kinda slow?
Again, it's still early, but also our JIT doesn't work on web, so the experience will be smoother if you run Winedroid natively instead of from your browser.
